Dog Food Ratings

Hi.

I own the ever popular increasing website, hurtingpets.com. I talk about all kinds of problems which your pet can have. In this blog, I will address a number of issues related to a very important health ingredient for your friend and loyal companion.  A best dog food.  In this post, I am going to look at Dog Food Ratings for a few dog food brands like, wellness dog food, senior dog food, hypoallergenic dog food, puppies dog food.

Blue Dog Food:

Made by the Blue Buffalo Dog Food company, they are tight with a manufacturing process. They do not have mystery ingredients in their food. They also have added botanicals, anti-oxidents, natural pro-biotics. They are tight with the manufacturing process. In terms of dog food ratings, I give this a 10. This is what my Schnoodle eats.

Orijen Dog food:

This is made by a company of Canada who has very good dog food ratings. They get all their products locally which ensures freshness, purity and excellent nutrient content. They too add botanicals, antioxidents, and pro-biotics. All their ingredients are listed with no guess work about it. By buying there products locally, they know who they are buying from, support the local community and the community supports them right back. It's a 10.

Solid Gold Dog Food:

I did a bit of Googling on this one and what I found was a mixed bag. I prefer to see something where they actually "state" what he ingredients are, not a percentage of this and that. Does it have botanicals, antioxidents, and natural pro-biotics in the forms of name I know? Couldn't really find an answer to this one. Some people seem to like it, others don't. They say they have natural ingredients. The dog food ratings I checked range from 6 to 8. So give it a 7.

Authority Dog Food:

This one was easy. If it contains corn, grain or rice products, and this product does, RUN. They are not easily digested by dogs. Wheat creates problems for dogs because of fungus called aflatoxins. Rice has hard to digest proteins like gluten, corn too much sugar. Grains prevent necessary minerals like calcium from being absorbed. Grains and roadkill are added by manufacturer's who care more about their bottom line and the current price of their stock than they do your pet.
Since they seem to care more about their bottom line, so they don't deserve high dog food ratings. So it is a 2 or 3.
